Strongly influenced by the classic New York graffiti style of the 1980s, BRK honed his skills on the streets of his hometown Madrid in the 1990s. A talented illustrator, BRK’s highly stylised typography, comic book figures, cartoon characters, bold colours and razor sharp execution are all elements that give his work a unique flavour. BRK’s obsession with his subject matter extends to the toys/figures he grew up playing with as a kid - his personal collection now numbers many thousands of vintage pieces. BRK painted walls all over the world as a solo artist and collaboratively with The Limbo Yonki (TLY) crew before settling in London in 2009 where he became a key member of The Rolling People (TRP), a crew with whom he still paints.
